Bio: The eldest of the archangels and leader of God’s armies - Michael felt it the exact same moment as Lucifer, when the power of Heaven turned it’s eyes from the cage and focussed on the Earth, allowing them both to make their escape from it’s confines. Lucifer made a hasty exit, not once looking back as he raced for the Earth, Michael stepped a more cautious foot onto the surface, having reconstructed the form of the younger John Winchester, in order to give the broken vessel that was Adam Milligan one more chance at life.
Finding the gates of Heaven now closed, Michael found new purpose, resuming his role as leader of an army, gathering the remnants of anything living that was just and pure, but more importantly, still had faith. As with all of the other angels now earthbound, Michaels power was no longer unlimited, cut off from the source, but he found hope renewed in mankind as he watched a bare few struggle against the current adversity.
Maintaining his faith and being ever the ‘good son’, Michael held out hope, that if this was the final battle, the death of his brother, Lucifer, would reopen the gates of Heaven and allow the world to be rebuilt anew.
